The symphonic cirque phenomenon returns this October with a Halloween twist!  Prepare to scream and shriek “oohs” and “ahhs” as you shudder in amazement to the death-defying acrobatic feats performed by some of the world’s greatest cirque artists, accompanied by the “spooktacular” musical hits of the GSO.

Musical highlights from the performance include the theme music to the motion picture, “Jaws,” Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” music from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Berlioz’s “Dream of a Witches’ Sabbath” from Symphonie fantastique, and the Overture to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera,” to name a few.

This spectacular program is appropriate for the entire family, and patrons are encouraged to come in costume to the performance — dare to come in costume and enter our Halloween Costume Contest, and you could win $500!  Click here for details on costume and contest rules.  The Halloween Costume Contest is sponsored by Community Journals, LLC.

Cirque de la Symphonie: Halloween Extravaganza is presented by The Capital Corporation.
