Mahler: Symphony No. 3, D minor
We conclude our 68th season with the great Hymn to Nature — the Greenville premiere of the Austrian genius, Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3. The composer used to say that for him “writing Symphony means creating a world.” The world of his Third Symphony requires huge performing forces: enormously large orchestra, women and children choruses and alto soloist — all together, you will see more than two hundred people on stage for this grandiose event!
To purchase tickets, call The Peace Center Box Office at (864) 467-3000 or toll-free at (800) 888-7768, or online at peacecenter.org.
